Twilight's setting is in Forks, Washington. It is always rainy and wet in Forks; it is a small town and is surrounded by wooded area. Everything was green from the trees covered in moss and the ground covered with ferns. The time period in this book is resent. The socioeconomic characteristics in this book would be mostly in the middle class, except for the Cullens. They have nicer cars, clothes, and a big nice house.

I had never really thought about how the Cullens' socioeconomic status is just one more thing that sets them apart from the rest of the town - besides that they are beautiful and vampires.
